Mommy's friend Jua was in town to drop her sister off at the MTC so we went down to Provo to have dinner with her, Aubs, and Austin! It had been 5 years since Mommy had seen Jua so we had SOO much fun chatting and reminiscing all night long!!!

We were able to meet with Angel Watch tonight. Angel Watch is a support group that works with families facing a life-limiting or life threatening diagnosis for their unborn or newly born infant. They provide emotional and social support to these families. A nurse and a social worker came to our home for nearly 2 hours and answered many of the questions that we had and let us know about all the resources that are available to us, and there are so many! We are so blessed! We will be getting phone calls from people to give us more information about organ donation options, other families/couples who have been through similar experiences, and others helping to ensure that we make a birth plan that fits our specific desires.
We were really excited to find out about resources available to us. Some of the neat mementos they will help with are pictures, videos, hand/foot prints, and hand molds. There are two others that we are especially excited about! The first is called a 'Winnie Bear'. We will bring a piece of fabric to the hospital with us that Paetyn will be wrapped in. Then, without washing this fabric, it will be made into a teddy bear that will have her scent!! The other thing we are really excited about is meeting with a Music Therapist from the University of Utah Hospital that will help us write a song about Paetyn! They will be able to use a recording of her heartbeat and incorporate it into the beat of the song. We will be able to help with the wording of the song as well. We are so excited to have a special song just for her!

Mommy had a girls night with some of the gals from our ward! When she got home, Mommy thought it would be funny to sneak in and scare Daddy, so she crept up behind him while he was putting dishes away and scared him worse than he had ever been scared! Daddy jumped about a foot and spun around, hold 3 steak knives in his hand!!! Luckily Mommy didn't get accidentally stabbed!!! What a good Daddy you have, always taking such good care to keep the house clean and Mommy happy! We are the luckiest girls in the world to have him!

We went to Benihana to use mommy's birthday gift certificate. We had so much fun and even had them sing Happy 27 weeks to Paetyn!

Daddy went pheasant hunting with some friends, then afterwards Uncle Shabby and Mommy's friend Marla came over for dinner. We had a lot of fun chatting and catching up while Daddy and Shabby cooked the wings on the grill outside in the dark. This is the excuse Daddy uses for some of the wings being burnt, but it's amazing how he can make even the burnt ones taste good! He's such a talented cook as you know from daily experience because he is the real chef in the family. We ate yummy hot wings and enjoyed watching football with great company! Mommy can't believe she forgot to take pictures...

Daddy went pheasant hunting again...
When he got home we had a package on your front porch from Aunt Amber and Uncle Josh and their boys!! They sent us some yummy treats to lift our spirits and they all made us really nice cards. We love them so much and are so grateful for their love and support!

Saturday we met up with some friends for lunch who recently had a miscarriage. It was really nice to be able to sit and talk with them about all that we have been going through. We are so grateful for so many people who are willing to talk to us and lend us support and love.
After lunch, we went on a family hunting trip (for pheasant again). You would think that in 3 days of hunting Daddy would have killed at least 1 bird...but it was still a lot of fun to be out together as a family on a beautiful fall night!! And we got some great family pictures!!
