Our Paetyn is just growing right up! We had a very busy week celebrating her 6 month mark. She has been very active and keeps Mommy up for hours as she likes to be most active at night, but we love every single second!

We enjoyed a nice evening at home as a family. We decided that for dinner we wanted a good burger and fries, and remembered that there's a fun drive-in close to us that we haven't tried yet. We went to Kirt's and got a burger, some chicken strips, and delicious scones and a butterfinger shake for dessert. YUM! We had a lot of fun!
For Mom's birthday a few weeks ago, Daddy gave her some coupons for a pedicure and such (from him). Since today was the first day that Mommy's ankles decided to start swelling, she decided to cash in on the pedicure which included her nails being painted, and Daddy did a GREAT job! He even did glitter toes that were orange with black tips, all ready for Halloween. They are SO cute! You are lucky to have the BEST Daddy in the whole wide world! He loves you, his "baby girl", SO much and is the best at taking care of "his girls".

After work today Mommy and Daddy went to Paradise to spend time with your Great Grandma and Grandpa Gillett. They fed us the yummiest dinner and pie, their food NEVER disappoints. Great Grandma and Grandpa Gillett lost their 10th child, a baby girl named Sarah. Sarah was born with Trisomy 18 and many other health complications. It brought us so much comfort to be able to talk with them about their experiences, their love for her, and their love for you. They have such strong testimonies of the gospel and the help that our Heavenly Father will give to all of His children, especially through difficult times. They are great examples of love and acting on their faith. We love them so much! Mom is so disappointed because she forgot to get pictures with them... Sorry!

Mom and Dad went to work today, and for lunch we were able to meet up with some of our favorite people! Big Brian, Karli, Danae, and Bubba met up with us at Jeremiah's for lunch. They were so sweet to come down from Hyrum and spend time with us. We had a fun time visiting, and as we were leaving, NaeNae gave us a really cute blanket that she had crocheted for us. She is so talented! Dad enjoyed duck hunting with Uncle Snoop. Champ of course loved it too! Unfortunately, a tire bearing on the duck boat trailer broke so they had to leave the boat there to go back and fix another day when it was light.

Mommy was having a hard day today. Luckily, she has great, supportive co-workers who let her stay home and breathe. It can be frustrating how emotions decide to creep in. Mom usually prefers to just keep working and keep herself busy, but really felt she needed a break today and a chance to let the emotions come, because they are an important part of healing and learning. Even though it's not fun, it is okay to have hard days every once in a while. It was so nice to be able to be at home and accomplish some tasks as well as take time to reflect on all that has happened in the last few weeks and process it. Mom stayed in bed for over an hour in the early morning just enjoying you move and feeling your kicks and squirms. We are so blessed to be supported by so many wonderful people, and to be able to celebrate every little moment that we have with you. You are so sweet and so fun!
This evening, we were able to go on a family drive out to Willard Bay to fix the duck boat trailer. Luckily Mom didn't go into labor, because it sure was bumpy! I think she'll stay home from that adventure next time as much as she enjoyed being there with you and Daddy. She could have done without the millions of mosquitoes too. Unfortunately, the new bearing we bought to fix the trailer didn't fit either, so we instead enjoyed training Champ for a few minutes and the view was amazing!

Today was a BUSY day! We got up early and headed to Payson where Trichelle took family pictures for us. She is so talented, and we are so excited to see them! Family pictures were followed by a trip to Tucanos where we ate WAY too much delicious food, of which Mom's favorite is the grilled pineapple. YUM! You definitely enjoyed it too, Little Miss Squirms-a-lot! We picked up Aunt Jacie and drove to Cedar City where we met up with Grandma and Grandpa Gillett. Aunt JoLee, and Ma-Key and G-Pa Lynn. We went out to dinner, and then to the Cedar City Temple Open House. It was beautiful, and so fun to see and attend with family.

We had another crazy, fun-filled day! We stayed the night at the Albrecht's, and enjoyed visiting with them this morning also. We missed seeing some of them, but that's a good excuse for us to visit them again soon. We just happened to be in town for the Sheep Parade, so we of course couldn't pass that up! We saw so many great friends and enjoyed lunch with them. We sure love our Frankii, Bryan and Kelli May, and Devron and Courtney Johnson (with their little guy who is due any day now!) We visited with Jim and Cindi while we were in town also. So many great friends and great memories in Cedar City, we wish we had more time there to see all our other amazing friends! We sure miss it, especially the wonderful people. We had to stop in Beaver on our way back up North to get squeeky cheese and ice cream from the Cheese Factory. YUM! We met up with the Prisbrey family at Red Lobster and had a blast talking and catching up with them. We are blessed with some of the greatest friends! Daddy also pampered Mommy by taking her shopping and getting her some amazingly comfortable maternity clothes. He really is just the greatest EVER!
We love you our Sweet Paetyn, and hope you had as much fun as we did meeting all of our friends, and traveling around all week. Happy Week 25! It has been a blast!
